Baseball NSW are extremely proud of the efforts from the two teams who represented our State at the Australian Intermediate League Championships between the 22nd – 26th of May. In case you missed all the live action of AILC, Ryde Hawks and Hills both competed in the 5-day tournament to the best of their ability, with Hills coming away 7th and Ryde finishing 2nd place. Ryde Hawks were successful throughout the tournament winning all their round games and the semi-final to earn themselves a spot in the gold medal match, but unfortunately were defeated by the Wanneroo Giants. Their determination to get to the gold medal match is a great achievement in itself and congratulations to Ryde on the silver medal! Hills gave it their all throughout the tournament as well, and I’m sure the team enjoyed the opportunity to compete against the top teams from all the other states. We hope they enjoyed their time in Mildura! We are extremely proud of these teams for the way they represented Baseball in NSW and congratulations to both teams on their efforts at AILC2022!
