Country High-Performance Program
The NSW Country-affiliated areas of Newcastle, Central Coast, Illawarra, Lismore, and Coffs Harbour all conduct regional Player Development Programs to service the best players in their relevant areas. Following the strategic direction, as put forth by Baseball NSW High-Performance Staff, these programs follow structured content that contains current best practice methods with instruction given by the region’s best-qualified coaches.
Australian Youth Championships 2024 – Country Trials
NSW Country Baseball are holding trials for train on squads in preparation of the 2024 Australian Youth Championships.
As part of the CLSC’s ongoing junior development program, they have also decided to select an Under 14’s development squad with a view of better preparing the junior representative players leading into their eventual transition to Under 16’s Nationals.
Players must be aged for their specified division as at 31 December 2023 to be eligible for selection. It is also a condition for selection, that all players attend the NSW Country Championships for their age division.
The trials will be held at Blackbutt Park Wauchope on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st May 2023.
All players wishing to be considered for selection must register their interest via the following links before 5:00 pm 17th May 2023.
