Emerging Pathway Program

Our youngest winter development program will consist of two sessions per week with some of Baseball NSW’s best coaches who excel at early game learning and the fundamentals of the game. This program will be led and directed by Baseball NSW State Development Officer, Coen Wynne and will run out of three regionalized venues in the North, West, and South.

These young athletes will undergo an 8-week program which will walk them through the fundamentals in all areas of the game, seeing participants learn all fielding positions as well as honing in on their offensive aspects through hitting drills and cues.

After going through the fundamentals of all positions they will start the position cycle again and learn more in-depth skills and drills to progress and develop their skills to prepare them for the next steps in their baseball journey.

After the EPP the athletes will be invited to a testing day where they will be able to show their skills and put-up data that we will use to compare to their times used to trial for this program. This testing day will include a 60 yd dash, Run & Gun, and Bat Exit Speed test.
