At the end of September, NSW Baseball Umpires Association held the inaugural NSW LL Umpire Academy.
Forty-three (43) students of various levels of experience, all keen to learn and become better umpires, showed up to partake in the event.
A huge thank you to the Greenway Giants for welcoming everyone to your great facility, especially Conor for all your help each day. Thanks also to Kerry Jackson for helping feed everyone.
A special thank you to all of the amazing students who showed up and spent 3 days “Working Hard!” to better their skills.
NSWBUA especially thanks the dedicated instructors and trainers for giving up their time to pass on their knowledge and learn new skills. Thank you also, to all those who travelled from far and wide to both participate and lend a helping hand during this great event!
It was outstanding to have the two volunteers and LL Umpire Instructors, that paid their own dime to come from California to help, Mark Bernstein and Mike Debelak. NSWBUA and all those who participated have been blown away by your generosity and dedication to the Little League program. Each one – Teach one!
We hope the event was enjoyed by all and can’t wait to see the umpiring talent it brings through the season!
