Baseball NSW would like to farewell and acknowledge one of the greats of the game, Trent D’Antonio, who retires from the ABL this weekend.
Following the Bluesox final round series of the 2022/23 Australian Baseball League (ABL) season, Trent D’Antonio has announced that he will be retiring from professional baseball. Trent has had a long and distinguished career with the NSW and Sydney Bluesox teams.
Trent has made a huge impact on Baseball in NSW. He has played across a few clubs from juniors all the way up to State League, spending most of his time at the Canterbury Vikings. He’s been a NSW representative in the Claxton Shield and has played over 450 games combined with the ABL. We wish Trent all the best as he retires after thirteen amazing years. It is a remarkable example of resilience and dedication.
