Congratulations to our two Baseball NSW representative teams who finished in the top four at the Barclay Cup tournament last week!
Baseball NSW successfully secured two spots in the top four at the first ever Barclay Cup tournament!
NSW Blue came away with 4 wins and 4 losses, defeating WA Blue 5-3 on the final day to seal their 4th place spot.
NSW Black had a 4 win and 5 loss record and on the final day defeated QLD White 6-2 to earn their spot in the Grand Final. They, unfortunately, went down to WA Gold in the gold medal match, but what an amazing achievement to finish 2nd place overall.
Congratulations to Keira King and Isobel Lambert whom both finished amongst the batting leaders from the tournament, with King having the 5th best batting average (.571) and Lambert 3rd best for RBIs with 10 total through the tournament. Lambert also topped the pitching leader board, finishing top 3 across all four Gamechanger categories. You can see all the stats on the 2022 Barclay Cup Gamechanger page.
Thank you to all the players, coaching staff and families who travelled to QLD to represent Baseball in NSW and we hope the tournament was enjoyable for all.
