Baseball NSW Introduces Coaching Recognition & Development Framework

Baseball NSW is pleased to introduce a new approach to coaching accreditation that better reflects the many ways coaches contribute to our game.

In line with the soon to be released BNSW Strategic Plan; the Recognition and Development Framework places a strong focus on supporting those who deliver quality experiences for participants across the sport.

The Coaching Recognition & Development Framework provides a practical and flexible pathway for coaches to maintain accreditation through active coaching, professional development, mentoring, and ongoing learning.

This points-based framework enables coaches to accrue points over the three-year term of their current Level B or Level C accreditation. Points can be earned through coaching within our local club, country & metro association, or tournament coaching; Baseball NSW-approved professional development opportunities; mentoring emerging coaches; and coaching within the State League, Women’s League, ABL, Baseball NSW Academy, and Pathway Programs.

Built around participation, learning, and contribution, the framework recognises the important role coaches play in supporting players, strengthening clubs, and growing baseball across New South Wales.
