The role of the coach is not just coaching!
Coaches assist athletes in developing to their full potential. They are responsible for training athletes by analyzing their performances, instructing in relevant skills and by providing encouragement. They are also responsible for the guidance of the athlete in life and their chosen sport.
Jason PospishilJason is a former State and National team representative. He has played with the Minnesota Twins, hitting coach and Manager in the Minnesota Twins Minor League, and has professional scouting experience with the Baltimore Orioles.
Jason has coached and managed Australian National teams of various age groups, and is the current Manager of the Australian Women's Team (Emeralds). He is Head of Baseball Operations & High-Performance for Baseball NSW. |
Graheme CasselGrahame is an inductee into the Australian Baseball Hall of Fame. He has played in the original ABL and is a former coach with the Sydney Blue Sox in the current ABL.
He has been a coach with the BNSW High-Performance Program for many years, has coached Junior and State Teams. At present, Grahame is in charge of Player Development for Baseball NSW. |
Garry EversonGarry has extensive coaching experience, having coached at Junior representative and State level.
He has also coached a number of NSW State League clubs, currently on the 1st Grade coaching staff at the Macarthur Orioles. Garry has coached in BNSW Women's Development Programs, High-Performance Programs, and is currently the bullpen coach with the Sydney Blue Sox in the ABL. |
Travis McDonaldTravis is a NSW and Australian Junior represenative. He played for the Perth Heat in the ABL, previously signed with the Cincinnati Reds in the USA, and currently pitches for Baulkham Hills in the NSW State League 1st Grade.
He has coached in the BNSW High-Performance Programs and several NSW Junior teams at the Australian Youth Championships. |
Adrian MedinaAdrian is the Head of Baseball5 for NSW, working on the development of Baseball5 for NSW (School programs, integration to baseball as high-performance training, children with disabilities/autism, high-performance training for state and national representations).
He has played in the Pacific Coast Baseball League, and represented Cronulla in the NSW State League. |
