We are deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Vic Hocking. Vic’s love and support of the game was endless.
His first involvement with baseball was back in the Early ’80s with Canterbury Bankstown Baseball Club. With his endless support to the club, he became the Patron of the Club which then lead to the Club becoming the Vikings. An absolute gentleman, & friend to all that crossed his path. Vic was also the Commissioner of BNSW for some time, again putting his time and effort into helping promote our game. His love and support of the game grew and continued with him serving as the Commissioner of BNSW for several years. Vic also served as the Manager (EO) of the NSW Claxton Shield Team highlighted by 2 Titles in 2004 & 2005. Vale Vic.
