Webinar Series – How To Finance Your US Study

EducationUSA has received numerous requests for detailed information on financial aid and scholarships for U.S. universities. The topic is unfamiliar to Australian students and often confuses them. As such, EducationUSA is delighted to inform you that they are hosting a much anticipated "How to Finance Your U.S. Study" two-part webinar series.

Students interested in U.S. study are encouraged to join the two-part webinar series. Joining the webinars will be experts in U.S. university financial aid who will attempt to demystify the topic for students.

Part 1 - An introductory overview of financial aid with a panel of U.S. financial aid experts. The focus will be on types of financial aid, terminology, resources for research, how to find scholarships and factors international students will have to consider. This session will also take a look at how US institutions determine the need for international students.

Part 2 - An in-depth look at the financial aid process. The session will cover planning for financing a US education, making a budget, and how to find scholarships. Options to make a US education more affordable will be discussed along with what is required to be submitted and questions families should be asking the universities.
