This month, we had the pleasure of having the Pittsburgh Pirates Sydney Camp out at Blacktown International Sports Park.
The Pittsburgh Pirates MLB Organisation hosted a junior scouting camp in Sydney for our high performance athletes!
We got to chat with Tony Harris, Pittsburgh’s International Supervisor and Sydney Blue Sox Manager as well as David Kim, ABL legend and the first Australian to break into the Korean Baseball Organisation (KBO)!
The kids were lead by a combination of expert Pittsburgh Pirates staff and local staff over the duration of the camp, designed to replicate a “combine” approach similar to what is run in the states.
