Baseball NSW Baseball5 Program continues to grow, with the implementation of the first-ever interschool competition set to take place on the 19th of June, 2023!!
Eight teams across four schools (Wattle Grove, Chipping Norton, Dalmeny and Oran Park Public School) are getting ready to battle for this first edition of the Baseball5 NSW Inter-Schools Championship.
Our Baseball5 Co-ordinator Arian Medina has been working closely with multiple schools across the state through the “Sporting Schools Program”, an Australian Government initiative designed to help schools increase children’s participation in sports and connect them with community sports opportunities. As a result of this initiative, many schools across NSW have had the chance to enjoy learning and playing more of this sport.
Baseball NSW and Baseball5 NSW would like to thank all schools for their participation. BNSW appreciate the support and assistance from John Brook and Benjamin Tayloras both educators and WBSC accredited coaches in organising this competition, as well as WBSC accredited coaches Frank Tallaridy and Gil Reyes who will be officiating all the games.
This event is promising to be fun, fast, exciting, and competitive!!!
