Per Baseball Australia, the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has released the official schedule of the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup 2025, to be held from 5-14 September in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan.
The tournament will host two groups of six. Following pool play, the top three teams in the group will advance to the Super Round.
Team Australia will play China, Germany, Panama, Chinese Taipei, and the United States in Group B.
Meanwhile, Group A will feature Cuba, Japan, Italy, Korea, South Africa, and Puerto Rico.
Last December, Team Australia defeated New Zealand in a best-of-five qualifying series to advance to the U18 World Cup.
Ahead of the tournament, the team will then host a camp in August on the Gold Coast with the 29 players they invited early in the year. Coaching staff will be led by Jason Pospishil.
