The stakes for these World Cup Qualifiers are high as well, for only one of the two competing teams can earn a spot to represent Oceania at the 2026 U23 World Cup to be played in Nicaragua from 6-15 November.

There will be 12 participating teams in next year’s World Cup, and Australia will duke it out with Guam to earn one of those spots.

If you want to attend the games live, here are the schedules:
  • November 6 (Thursday): 2:00PM
  • November 7 (Friday): 2:00PM
  • November 8 (Saturday): 2:00PM
  • November 9 (Sunday): 10:00AM and 2:00PM (both games if necessary)

Speaking to Baseball Australia, Team Australia U23 Manager Shayne Watson expressed confidence in his squad ahead of the games.

“It’s great to host Guam and prepare for what promises to be a competitive series,” Watson said. “We’re excited to bring our team together and every opportunity to unite this group is special. We’ve put a strong squad together and can’t wait to get to work.”

BNSW wishes the Team Australia boys all the best as they prepare for a terrific series of baseball!
