Baseball NSW congratulates the Sydney Blue Sox for their successful Summer Holiday Camps last December 2025! These camps were held in collaboration between the Blue Sox and RBI Australia and were held across two locations and four days.
The Sox’s camps comprised a hitting clinic, which drew 88 attendees, and a pitching/catching clinic, which drew 57.
At the camps, the kids received pro-level coaching and enjoyed special behind-the-scenes access with the Blue Sox players. They also sharpened their fundamental baseball skills that should help them develop as well-rounded players in the future.
The Hitting Clinic involves a day in the batter’s box with Blue Sox pros and athletes in the MLB system. During the clinic, players practice their swing mechanics, approach, and refine their in-game mindset during hands-on small-group instruction.
Meanwhile, the Pitching and Catching clinic involves training with pro-level pitchers and receivers. The clinic will develop players’ sequencing, mechanics, and game management. Likewise, players with substantial international experience will help guide the players toward reaching the next level.
