Baseball NSW wishes the New South Wales squads all the best as they head to Melbourne Ballpark for the 2026 Australian Women’s and Youth Women’s Championships from 12-18 April!
The AWC kicks off on 12 April with four games:
- Queensland vs Roos @ 9:00AM AEDT
- Western Australia vs Victoria @ 11:45AM AEDT
- South Australia vs Victoria @ 2:30PM AEDT
- New South Wales vs. Western Australia @ 5:15PM AEDT
This year’s NSW squad looks to repeat as gold medalists after their stunning victory at the 2025 AWCs against Victoria. It was also NSW’s first gold medal victory at the AWCs since 2023.
Moreover, they enter the tournament as the team to beat, fielding the same title-winning core as last year. As head coach Laura Neads put it to Baseball Australia, “NSW should be competing in the Gold Medal game every year. That is how I view success for this program.”
Meanwhile, the AYWCs begin on 14 April. All the games will be livestreamed for free on the Baseball+ App or on their website below:
