Baseball NSW, in collaboration with Penrith City Council, is excited to announce that the prestigious Barclay Cup, will be hosted in Penrith, Sydney this year.
This premier junior female baseball tournament will take place from September 29th to October 5th, at Chapman Gardens Baseball Oval, home of the MacKillop Baseball Club.
The Barclay Cup, now in its third year after a successful debut in Queensland in 2022, has quickly become the pinnacle event for junior female baseball in Australia. The tournament is named to honour Jacinda Barclay, who had a major contribution to Women’s Baseball and overall Women’s sport in Australia. Jacinda was an Australian representative Baseball player, playing professionally in three different sports over her career. The tournament will bring together the nation’s most talented young female players, aged 13-16, for a week-long showcase of exceptional skill, competitive spirit, and sportsmanship.
Baseball NSW and the Penrith City Council are proud to support this significant event, which not only highlights the extraordinary talents of young female athletes but also promotes female athlete development and community involvement in the Penrith area.
