Baseball NSW opens the 2025 Emerging Pathways Program

Baseball NSW is excited to announce the opening of the Emerging Pathways Program for 2025 as part of its winter high-performance programs.

The EPP is BNSW’s high-performance program for its youngest cohort. Its purpose is to identify the high levels of talent currently playing in junior baseball across New South Wales.

Participants will learn the principles of BNSW as well as the fundamentals of high-level baseball in practice and gameplay scenarios.

This program is open to players who are turning or who have already turned 11, 12, 13, or 14 years old in 2025.

Moreover, the EPP aims to sharpen the skills of club and association-based players, focusing on those exposed to higher-performance programs for the first time. These players will undergo training in areas including Infielding, Outfielding, Pitching, Catching, Hitting, Base Running, as well as an Introduction to Strength and Conditioning.

A pool of coaching talent with extensive experience at multiple levels of baseball–including NSW State Team Coaches, State League Coaches, and Development Coaching Staff–will lead the EPP, which will run from the start of July to the end of August.

The cut-off for registration to the EPP is on 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, 18 May 2025.
