The Sydney Cup returns for another year and we’re super excited to announce its expansion.
The Sydney Cup competition boasts 3 divisions, with the Worboys (U12), Balfour (U14) and Shipley (U16) Cups. Six associations across the Sydney Metropolitan area compete, some with multiple teams in each division. The associations are Manly, Macarthur, Ryde, Cronulla. Greater Western and Hills.
In the Association Cup there will also be an U12 and U14’s competition!
The newest addition to the Sydney Cup is our U13’s All Girls division, the Gaynor Cup. This is the inaugural year of the Gaynor Cup named in honour of the Gaynor family – Katie and John – who have had a great contribution to the women’s game and baseball overall. Katie and John have been involved in many aspects of women’s baseball extending the way up to the Team Australia Emeralds!
