Baseball NSW congratulates Far North Coast and Coffs Harbour for winning the Grade A and Grade B Championships, respectively, at the NSW Senior Country Championships early this month.
Coffs Harbour defeated the FNC Grade B team to clinch the title in an exciting game of baseball, while the FNC Grade A team pulled out the win over Tamworth to secure their championship.
This is FNC’s first time to win the Senior Country Championships, making this victory even sweeter.
After the tournament, NSW Country Baseball also handed out individual awards among the top-performing players from all teams. These awards included the newly established Allan Parrott Player of the Final, named in honor of the late Allan Parrott.
The first Allan Parrott Player of the Final went to Rhys Neuhold from Tamworth, who also had a close relationship with Parrott. “It really means a lot,” Neuhold said in a comment about this conferral.
