Baseball NSW is proud to announce trials are open for the 2026 Barclay Cup and the inaugural U21 Women’s Invitational!
The Barclay Cup is named in honour of Jacinda Barclay, a pioneer of women’s baseball in Australia who debuted for the Australian Women’s National team in 2008 and went on to represent her country at five Women’s Baseball World Cups.
This key tournament brings together teams from five states, showcasing the nation’s top emerging junior female talent, and offers players a valuable chance to develop, compete and enjoy the game.
Running alongside it in 2026 is the inaugural Under 21 Women’s Invitational, the first time a nationwide competition has been held for this age group.
It’s a major milestone for the growth of women’s baseball and a significant opportunity for NSW’s talent to test themselves in a high-level competitive environment.
Baseball NSW is now calling for expressions of interest for players interested in trialing for both tournaments.

- Trials: 15 & 17 July, BISP Diamond 2, 6:00pm start
