In case you missed all the live action of The Australian Senior League Championships 2022, our two NSW teams had very successful campaigns at the tournament bringing home 2 medals for our state, Bronze and Silver! Manly were the first to medal, winning the Bronze medal match on Tuesday the 17th May against Gold Coast. They came back late, down by 2 runs in the 7th inning and managed to tie up the game before securing another run in the 8th and holding out Gold Coast to get the win. Congratulations Manly! Cronulla were successful throughout the tournament to earn themselves a spot in the Gold medal match but unfortunately were defeated by the Eastern Athletics. Their determination to get to the gold medal match, in itself, is a great achievement! We are extremely proud of these teams for the way they represented Baseball in NSW and congratulations to both teams on medalling! To all the young players who will now graduate from Senior League, we wish you in all the best in your future with baseball. Well done Manly and Cronulla Black for your success at the ASLC this year!
