Expressions of Interest: Country NSW U16 Coaching Staff

Baseball NSW will once again be entering a Country NSW team to participate in the U/16 National Championships to be held in July 2022 at Redcliffe, Queensland.
 
Country NSW has a very rich and successful history competing at National Championship level and this is your chance to lead our team to National Championship success.
 
Baseball NSW is now calling for Expressions of Interest for voluntary positions for the following positions:

• Manager​ for the U16 NSW Country Representative Team
• Assistant Coach for the U16 NSW Country Representative Team
• Pitching Coach for the U16 NSW Country Representative Team
• Development Coach for the U16 NSW Country Representative Team
• Executive Officer for the U16 NSW Country Representative Team

 
PLEASE NOTE: The position of Development Coach is a self-funded position, and the successful applicant will only take part in the preparatory phase of team preparation.
 
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria to apply:

• Minimum Level three (3) Coaching Accreditation (Level four (4) may also apply) in the “old” BA Coach Accreditation system, until this expires
• Minimum Level B Certification in the "new" USA Coach Certification system
• Hold a current Working with Children Check
• Demonstrate knowledge of current best practice models and strategy
• Work within the Baseball NSW High Performance Development Philosophies.

Duty Statements outlining roles and responsibilities for each position are within this document.
 
The commitment period for these teams includes a trial period in late April, followed by a fortnightly commitment from mid-May through to the tournament in July 2022.
