What to expect with Active Kids Voucher Redemptions
The Active Kids program run by Services NSW is a large program that services many different sports and assists hundred of thousands of families across NSW.
There have been recent technology advancements with the Services NSW Active Kids Voucher Program, particularly in the automation of checking and redeeming member's vouchers when in the process of registering. We understand the load and pressure of managing this process for Clubs and their volunteers and administrators, so we have invested significant time and energy in making these automations possible for the Baseball NSW community. It is a large program and we will be able to make refinements as we progress, but we do hope that we can streamline each Club's process when it comes Active Kids Vouchers.
It has taken a little longer than hoped to initiate and roll out but we are now moving along a lot more smoothly. We appreciate your patience in working with us and waiting patiently for the process to 'kick in'. So now the vouchers are being redeemed successfully when members are registering we need to understand how the Club receives it's component of the Active Kids voucher redemptions.

When do we receive our part?
To enable all components of the registration fee to be eligible for the Active Kids Voucher, Baseball NSW are the central redeeming entity. So this means the voucher amount can be split between the Club Fee component and the BNSW/BA Fee component. The full voucher value is first redeemed by Baseball NSW, and then each Club's component is delivered to them cyclically. This will initially work on the below timelines (as a guide only):
Reporting of the Active Kids Voucher uses for Registrations within your club will also be available in the very near future.
- Registrations taken between the 1st of the month and 15th of the month, will be paid out to Clubs by the end of that month
- Registrations taken between the 16th of the month and 30th/31st of the month, will be paid out to Clubs by the middle of the month

Active Kids Usage Tips
Some general tips for your members when using the Active Kids vouchers:
- The Date of Birth format is a 4 digit number with no spaces, in a DDMM format (ignoring the year of birth altogether)
- The voucher code is a 16 digit number with no spaces
- the Date of Birth of the Child plus the Voucher code must match
- Register one member at a time to make it simple
- Once the member hits "Apply" make sure the discount is applied to the membership price before progressing
- Once the member hits "Apply" and the membership price is discounted, this is deemed that the voucher has been redeemed, so they MUST progress to payment, as they WILL NOT be able to use the voucher again
